Hello my name is Mayel Tapia-Fregoso. 

I am a third-year student studying political science at The University of Oregon with aspirations to attend law school. I would describe myself as an open-minded, hard-working person eager to interact and connect with individuals on a personal level. My educational and professional career is driven by my dedication to serving the low-income Latinx community of Los Angeles.

I am confident that my refined writing and interpersonal communication skills can significantly contribute to Haven Neighborhood Services’ mission to expand the accessibility of financial education and other services to vulnerable communities.
